The boat is in excellent racing condition. The boat is built to weight and has the maximum righting moment. The boat is extremely well built.

The boat has the added benefit of having lifting rudders, which reduces drag, increases performance, helps steering and is safer.

There were four of these boats built in France and they are regarded as the fastest class 40’s even though they are a three-year-old design.

The boat is extremely fast reaching, running and does hold its own upwind. We have worked extremely hard to improve the boats light air performance and are now satisfied that we can hold our own over the ‘light air’ boats.

I believe that we are faster than the new Farr class 40’s both reaching and running, however they do have a slight edge on the wind.
